Which Car Parts Need Replacing Most Often?
The Oil And Filter

The oil and filter will need to be replaced every 3 to 6 months or every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. Never overlook this replacement or your car could become damaged.
Windscreen Wiper Blades
Windscreen wipers should be replaced every year or two. You will easily know when you use the wipers and they are not cleaning properly. If your car sits out in the elements most of the time, replacing them will probably happen much sooner.
Air Filters
In general, air filters will wear out every 3 to 4 years or 30,000 to 50,000 miles. You have to play it by ear depending on the roads you drive on. If you are dealing with roads that are very dusty such as dirt roads, you will have to change them out much sooner.
Brake Pads
Brake pads will usually last between three to five years or 30,000 to 70,000 miles. The time frame will alter depending on the type of vehicle you drive. If the brake linings are ceramic, they will last a much longer period of time vs non-asbestos. Also, how you drive your vehicle will affect the amount of time before changing the pads out.
Batteries

Batteries can vary enormously. Mileage does not play a factor in the battery’s lifespan. Some batteries are of higher quality and will last between 4 to 5 years while others might only last a year or so. This typically depends on how much you pay for it.
The Bulbs For Headlights & Rear Lights
Bulbs can last up to 7 years but standard bulbs will be affected by the driving conditions such as rough or bumpy terrains. The rougher the terrain the more often you should check them out. The last thing you need is to be pulled over because one of these bulbs has gone out.
Tyres
Tyres usually last 5 to 7 years. The lifespan of a tyre depends on how often you drive as well as the wear ratio. The higher the wear rating, the longer the tyre should hold up. You should check your tyres regularly to ensure you have not picked up a nail or something else that can cause a slow leak.
Spark Plugs
In general, iridium and platinum plugs should last for 8 years or 100,000 miles. If you drive a lot of short trips, they could wear out faster.
Belts
If you have a timing belt, it should last up to 8 years or 75,000 miles. Serpentine belts usually last for 6 years or 75,000 miles.
Brake Callipers, Wheel Cylinders, and Master Cylinders
These parts will normally last for 100,000 miles but often suffer from internal corrosion.
The estimated time is not a guarantee but will give you a general idea of the lifespan. There are other parts that could last more than 5 years but usually, you cannot change them out on your own.
